The Combe Down Stone Legacy Trust is looking for trustees to play an active role in developing the Museum of Bath Stone. The museum helps to celebrate and preserve the history of Combe Down’s former stone mines and the surrounding area. This role is ideal for someone interested in local history and who believes in the importance of spaces that allow communities to get together.

The role is voluntary. At a minimum, you would be expected to attend trustee meetings throughout the year, which are held remotely, but we hope you would also wish to be involved in the museum’s projects. The museum is constantly working to improve its standards and aims to start the museum accreditation process this year.

The Trust, in particular, is looking for trustees with backgrounds and skill sets that can benefit the running of a museum. This includes, but is not limited to, finance, retail, marketing, and historical research.

If you wish to apply, please send your CV and cover letter to info@museumofbathstone.org
