Volunteers are vital in supporting the museum’s work and, we encourage anyone aspiring to make a lasting difference to their community to get in touch with us.
Our volunteering programme is designed to inspire and benefit those taking part as much as they support the museum and, aim to provide a rewarding and enriching experience for all.
Volunteers can be from all walks of life and of any age above 18 years. Work experience placements can also be considered for those under 18.
We have opportunities available within a number of our operations and remit, including: Administration, Collections, Education, Events, Fundraising, Interpretation, Marketing, Maintenance, Projects, Outreach, Research and Stewarding.
Simply call the museum today for an informal chat on 01225 837439 or, email Miranda Litchfield on email@example.com to request a call back or, begin a conversation.
We would love to hear from you regardless of how little or much you feel you are able to offer.
